Prepaid and Gas Credit Cards Explained

Gas cards have to stretch as gas money, and with them is a good way to expand the ever-increasing gas prices. There are basically two types of gas cards: prepaid and gas credit cards.

Gas credit cards in the same way as ordinary credit cards, only that you earn if rebates for gas purchases used. During the introductory period, you can earn as much as 10% rebates on gas purchases. At regular intervals, on the other side, you will receive rebates of 2% to 5%,depending on the card company. The discounts are not always purchased in advance, but in the form of rewards points collected. And if these points is set to reach an agreed amount from the card company, they will be back either in cash, airline tickets or gift certificates converted. The cash-back reward is less desirable because they are paying for gas in order purchases.

Prepaid gas cards on the other hand, works almost the same way as gas credit cards only that ituse is a limit to the amount you can. Basically, you set the amount limit that the card can by used for payment in advance, which is why it is prepaid.

When you search for gas cards, you basically have to choose between the two species to make. Which is better? There is no clear answer, because your choice will depend on your gas spending habits. If you need help controlling your gas costs, then gas prepaid cards are preferable. However, in cases when youwill lose your gas card, gas credit cards because the credit on prepaid cards can be better restored. Furthermore, with gas credit cards to improve your credit score or your credit rating assumes that you are in paying your bill on time and are in full alert.
